Journaling is a great way to process feelings, help make decisions and help us to have clarity. I recently went to a retreat and we used a series of questions to help bring clarity. I am excited to bring a little bit of this retreat to you by sharing some of the questions that we were asked. So grab a pen and a journal, set a timer and spend a minimum of 5 minutes on each question. It might feel uncomfortable at first but just stay with it!!! 3 Journal Prompts for clarity:
Journal prompt 1:
If I could do anything, I would….
Remove all barriers. Money is not an issue. Time is not a block. Someone else’s opinion- does not exist for this exercise.
Nothing is standing in your way.
What are those things that you want to do?
What are the things that you say if only_____ I would.
If only I didn’t have to ________ I would have time for…
Whatever you fill in the ______ with, does not exist in this journal prompt, allow yourself to just freely write what you want to do.
Journal prompt 2:
My biggest desire is…
Remember- no barriers, there is nothing standing in your way. What do you desire, for you?
We do not usually take time to think about what we desire. We are “too busy” taking care of other people and things. But allow yourself to go “there”. What is your biggest desire- you have 5 minutes- write!!!

If I loved myself more…
This one, got to me.
If you loved yourself more-
- what would you do
- not do
- what would you make time for
- make a priority
- who would you reach out for
- what would you learn
- what life would you be leading
