Wellness Wednesday~ May’s reading

On this Wellness Wednesday let’s talk about books. Reading is one of my favorite things to do. There is nothing like being able to escape into a book! It is good for the brain, good for the soul & good for your health!!

Here are my top 5 reasons why reading is important!!!

  • Books allow you to see the world from another view
  • They help develop Critical thinking skills
  • Reading can expand your vocabulary
  • Reading a book lowers stress
  • Reading can help improve your memory

I am in a book club through text with family that live in different states. Being in a book club is a great way to make reading a priority. Since you have people waiting for you to finish, & sending you threatening bitmojis if you are taking to long~ you know who you are 🙂

Another fun idea is to make a space for reading. I created a reading nook in my room & I love how it turned out!!

This is a book I read as part of my book club & it was wonderful. It beautifully and brutally shows someone living through grief & heartbreak. It brings a real life look at grief. How we can experience  joy and grief at the same time. I loved it.
