How to journal to change your life
Journaling is something that I talk a lot about. If you follow me on social media – I show my morning routine in my stories, which always includes journaling. Journaling has changed my life and it is one of the reasons that I am so passionate about it. This is not a quick fix by any means. But when done consistently, you will start feeling more gratitude, more confidence and a mindset shift. I would like to show you how to journal to change your life.
How to journal to change your life…
Supplies:
- Journal
- Pens
How to start:
- Gratitude
- Write 1-3 specific things that you are grateful for in the last 24 hours
- Things I did well
- Write 1-3 specific things that you did well in the last 24 hours
- What I need help with
- Write down what you currently need help with
- Look at your to-do list, your calendar and see what is stressing you out the most, how can you ask for support around this?
Tips:
- Start small
- If it feels like too much to start all at once, focus on 1 thing you are grateful for first
- Do that for a week and then add 1 thing you did well
- As you do it more, it gets easier
- Set a time to do this every day, and be specific
- Say what you will do, when you will do it and where you will do it – “I will journal, every day after I brush my teeth in my chair by the fireplace”
- Set an alarm in your phone as a reminder
I would love to hear what you think about starting a journaling routine!!
