Affirmations can be a powerful tool for improving your overall wellness. You have probably heard of affirmations but maybe aren’t sure what all of the hype is about- here are some details. Affirmations are positive statements that you repeat out loud or in your head, and write down on a regular basis to help shift your mindset and beliefs. When you repeat and write down affirmations consistently, they can help you to build self-confidence, increase your self-esteem, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve your overall mood. In this blog post, we’ll explore how affirmations can be used to improve your wellness and provide you with some examples that you can start using today.
Affirmations for Self-Confidence:
- I am confident in myself and my abilities.
- I trust in my decisions and choices.
- I am capable of achieving anything I set my mind to.
- I believe in myself and my potential.
- I am capable of achieving my goals.

- I am surrounded by positive energy and love.
Affirmations for Self-Esteem:

- I trust my body to heal and restore itself.
Affirmations for Reducing Stress and Anxiety:
- I am calm and relaxed, even in challenging situations.
- I trust that everything is working out for my highest good.
- I am capable of handling any obstacle that comes my way.
- I release all worries and fears, and embrace peace and tranquility.
- I am healthy, happy, and whole.
- I choose to focus on the positive and let go of negativity.
- I am grateful for my health and well-being.
Affirmations for Improving Mood:
- I choose to focus on the positive in every situation.
- I am grateful for all the blessings in my life.
- I radiate positivity and joy to everyone I meet.
- I am filled with happiness and contentment.
- I am strong and resilient.
- My body is strong, resilient, and capable.
- I am in control of my thoughts, and I choose to think positively.
If you are ready to give affirmations a try here is what I suggest to start:
- Pick 1-3 that stick out to you
- Write them on sticky notes and place them where you see them often (bathroom mirror, computer, refrigerator, etc.)
- Take a few minutes each morning to write down one of them 10 times and say them out loud
