Make My Menu Monday~ 12/17/18

Howdy! It’s really hard to believe that Christmas is less than a week away. With the busyness that can be overwhelming in everything that comes along with this season, take a minute for this affirmation from aimhappy.com. It is one of my favorites… 

I choose love~ Everything I see is either an act of love or a call for love. I shine light upon the darkness and I bring joy to the surface. Dropping drama and picking up love, I can again claim happiness and peace within. I choose to bring love to a situation, that tempts me to follow fear. Love is the ultimate intention, and so I choose to live in a loving world.  

Monday:

Tuesday:

Cobb salad~

Iceberg lettuce (still a little scared of Romaine)

Turkey

Hardboiled egg

Feta Cheese 

Wednesday:

Butternut Squash, Sausage and Bacon soup from PaleOMG- click here for full recipe by PaleOMG

To make preparing the Butternut Squash SUPER easy- try this cool trick!!!

  • Wash the squash (obviously)
  • Put it in the crockpot
  • Cook on Low for 6-8 hours
  • Cool for a few minutes- it will be HOT (be careful please!!)
  • Easily cut the squash in half, remove the seeds and scoop out the flesh of the squash
  • Now it is ready to go for this yummy soup!!!

Thursday:

Breakfast for Dinner

Start with Scrambled eggs then pick your add-ons:

  • Spinach
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Avocado
  • Feta
  • Sausage
  • Bacon

Friday:

Christmas party food!!!

Saturday:

Out to eat

Sunday:

Spaghetti & Zoodles

  • 1 lb of hamburger
  • 1 lb of sausage
  • 1 jar of spaghetti sauce
  • oregano, parsley, garlic
  • 2 zucchini (or you can buy pre-made zoodles)

Cook hamburger and sausage in a skillet until done.

Add sauce and spices

For the zoodles- you can now buy pre-made zucchini noodles OR you can make your own!!
