Learning how to plan your day can reduce stress and anxiety and improve your overall wellness. It will be easier to do the things that you want to do.
6 steps to plan your day
- Prep the night before
- The things I prepare- clothes (for work and my workout), coffee, diffuser, prep breakfast, & pack my lunch)
- Be consistent with your morning routine
- Review/update my calendar
- Put the most important 3 things you want to get done at the top of the to do list
- Check in throughout the day to stay focused
- Evaluate at the end of the day. Anything you don’t get done, just put an arrow by and add it to the next day
My morning routine looks like this:
- Pour a cup of coffee
- One of my favorite parts of the morning!
- To prepare- the night before I get the coffee pot all ready to go and then use the programming feature to start it the next morning. I come down the stairs to a full coffee pot.
- Meditate
- The calm app is what I use for meditation. I am unable to meditate without some guidance, this app is amazing.
- There are so many different programs, 2 different daily meditations, sleep stories and sleep meditations.
- Journal
- My current journal routine is:
- Manifesting the things that I want/goals
- 3 specific things that I am grateful for that happened in the last 24 hours
- 3 specific things I am proud of myself in the last 24 hours
- My current journal routine is:
- Review/update my calendar
- Workout
- Getting my workout in early in the morning, just makes me feel better.
- I am currently doing Heather Robertson’s 10 minute a day workout program, taking a walk or bike most days, and yoga a few times a week
