Well~ Happy Thanksgiving weekend!! If you need a quick workout to fit in between eating, shopping and Christmas decorating This is one a friend and I did yesterday!!!
EMOM 20 minutes (Every Minute on the Minute)
- Row
- Walking lunge (Add a weight for an extra boost!)
- Sit-ups
- Push ups
Some hints & tips to get you through:
Simply switch movements at the top of each minute, you will do each movement 5 times. Switch at with about 10 seconds left
Here’s how the first round is set up, then just repeat until the 20 minutes is up~
- 0:00-0:50 -Row
- 1:00-1:50- Lunge
- 2:00-2:50- Sit ups
- 3:00-3:50- Push ups
- Just do each movement as many times as you can in that 50 seconds
Try to be consistent in each movement- your first round of lunges should be similar to the 5th time though 🙂
What I like about these kind of workouts is
- You can make them as difficult as you need to
- The movements are customizable~ this set up could be done everyday, just switch out movements
- If you need to take it easier on a round to catch your breath- you can!!
