5 steps to having a weekly menu plan:
- Do a quick survey of your fridge, freezer, and pantry (this helps you use what you have and not buy something you’ve already purchased).
- Look at your household schedules (if you have a night of practices and games, a crockpot meal is a better pick than something that will take a lot of time and energy to cook)
- Pick out what you are going to make for each dinner and make your grocery list
- Prep and prepare what you can. Cooking up meat ahead of time for tacos or spaghetti can make a big difference!
- Enjoy! My goal is feeding my family, not making complicated meals every night. Keeping it simple is important in our household!
