Have you ever wondered how to stay calm when times are stressful? In our lifetime, we have never been through something like this. It is scary and feels very unsettling. Besides the scary parts, there is also loss of normalcy, loss of celebration. If I let my mind wander it becomes even more frightening. But this is reality right now, and as much as we want to fast forward time, we have to deal with what is in front of us. A couple of years ago my word of the year was peace, that year I learned the true definition of peace, and it is a good reminder to review it: Peace- it does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things & still be calm in your heart.
