Hello! The Christmas season is here and it is supposed to be the happiest time of the year!!! Sometimes though, it can get pretty overwhelming. This year, I found this really sweet calendar (at coffeecupsandcrayons.com) that has 1 act of kindness each day in December leading up to Christmas that we are going to be doing. Hopefully this helps remind us to show kindness to others every day. Each act of kindness takes just a few minutes! You are welcome to follow along and share with me something fun you are doing this holiday season!
Day 1 : Make a card for a soldier.
This website is a really great guide to sending letters, care packages or other items needed for soldiers, not just at Christmas time, but all year long! It walks you through step by step and even gives you ideas on how to start your letter and what to say. We each wrote a letter, filled out a donation form, then printed out the barcode and then your letters are ready to take to the post office!
This was a really simple process and hopefully it puts a smile on a soldier’s face 🙂
