Have you ever found yourself stuck in a workout rut? I know I have! It’s easy to lose motivation when routines feel repetitive or when life gets busy. But I’ve learned that finding something you truly enjoy and keeping your workouts diverse can make all the difference.
One of the most effective ways to stay consistent is to schedule your workouts—just like you would any other important appointment. If it’s not on the calendar, chances are it won’t happen. Making fitness a part of your routine helps it become second nature.
If you’re feeling stuck and don’t know where to start, I completely understand. There was a time when I couldn’t even run a full lap around the track! But I took small, consistent steps, focusing on the next right thing, and over time, my fitness improved. It’s not always easy, but it is simple. My Current Workout Routine
Right now, my workouts include a mix of Beachbody programs, CrossFit-style training, and outdoor movement. Here’s a breakdown:
✅ Lifting/Strength Program
- 4 days a week, ~40 minutes per session
- Each workout includes:
- 1/3 lifting with weights
- 1/3 cardio
- 1/3 core work
✅ Custom Workouts (1-2 Days/Week)
- CrossFit-style movements
- EMOM (Every Minute on the Minute) or Chipper format
✅ Outdoor Cardio (When Time & Weather Allow)
- Walk/jog 1 mile a day for fresh air and movement
