7 Simple Ways To Bring A Smile To Your Face Today!!

If you feel like this winter is lasting FOREVER and need some extra sunshine in your day- this is the post for you!! 

Let’s talk about 7 fun ways to bring a smile to your face today: 

1. Start your day off with some gratitude!

If you keep a gratitude journal it’s a great way to remember happy things in your life. Writing these down and being able to look back on these sweet memories can bring a smile to your face when you need it.

2. Take a walk outside

Even if it’s just a quick walk around the block. Getting some fresh air (even if it’s cold) is good for our souls! Extra bonus if you can walk a puppy 🙂

3. Open the blinds!

If you are at work or stuck at home, getting in some sunshine is a little happy in our day. (Some views are better then others)

Let the sunshine in! Okay sometimes opening up the blinds is better than others 🙂

 

4. Treat yo self (anyone watch Parks and Rec).

It doesn’t have to be an extravagant treat to be effective! Grab your favorite coffee treat, have a yummy piece of chocolate, or stop by and get some fresh flowers. If you have a little extra time get a massage or your nails done. Just a little treat can go a long way!

5. Phone a friend!

There are some people in my life that I know can bring a smile to my face just by having a quick chat! Don’t forget to reach out to your tribe when you need them.

 

6. Watch a funny show.

My go to’s when needing a laugh are The Office, Friends, Parks and Rec and my newest find Brooklyn 99. Sometimes just 30 minutes of laughing can get you out of a funk!

7. Put something fun on the calendar!

There is nothing like having something to look forward to! If there is nothing fun on your calendar make something! Plan a trip or a girls day. Take some time to plan it out, just the process of visualizing the fun you will have is fun!
