Confession time here… baking was not my thing. It scared me a bit, with it’s super exact requirements and all. I like to add a bit of this and a little of that when I am cooking, recipes are usually a guideline. Baking needs precise. Failing at something or being bad at something, also isn’t really my thing. But, somewhere after I realized that trying to be perfect at everything was not such a joyous way to go through life (see my previous post on avoiding the trap of perfect), I also decided to give baking a try. Who cared if I failed the first time or it didn’t turn out how it is supposed to? Baking has become something that I enjoy it so much! It’s really fun to create these amazing and delicious creations out of nothing but a pile of ingredients. It’s different then cooking, it’s more of an art! In doing so, I found how to organize baking supplies is a great way to be more productive on baking days!
How to organize baking supplies~ in 4 steps
Step 1: Hanging measuring cups/spoons
My first step was hanging these small command hooks to hold my measuring cups and spoons
Step 2: Adding my kitchen measurements printable
Then I added the measuring cups along with a printable I created with equivalents for kitchen measurements

Step 3: Gathering all the baking stuff
Then I gathered all of my baking ingredients. There is no need to spend extra money to get all matching containers or canisters. Use what you have!!
Step 4: Labeling
Labeling things with washi tape is really easy. It is very affordable, just write on the tape with a sharpie. Washi tape comes in all different colors and patterns, so you can match it to your decor if you want! There are many options for labeling!
It turned out so cute AND functional!!
Do you LOVE to bake? Learning how to organize baking supplies helps baking days be more productive- do you have any organizing projects like that? I would love to hear from you!!
