Real Life, Real Fitness~ 4/25/20

Howdy everyone! Getting in a workout everyday is so important to my health. Not only the way I feel physically, but the way I feel mentally and emotionally. It can be the difference in a good or bad day. Over the last year and a half my schedule shifted, making it much harder to go to the gym. Previously my daily routine included going to the gym. When that didn’t work anymore, I started making my own workouts to workout at home. I loved doing that but after awhile, I became a bit bored with it and all of my workouts looked the same. My sister-in-law had been doing Beachbody for a while and really enjoyed it, so I decided to give it a try!  Then, laster last year I became a Beachbody Coach because how much I loved the workout programs. The flexibility to pick the program that works for me, being able to workout from anywhere and being able to switch up the program to fit my day, are just a few of the reasons that I love it! Monday:

Transform20 (Beachbody program)~Day 32: Powerful

Tuesday:

Transform20 ~ Day33: Cut

Wednesday:

Transform20 ~Day36: Burn

Thursday:

EMOM 30 minutes

  • Bike
  • Ring row
  • Penguin abs
  • Row
  • Wallballs
  • Kettlebell swings

Friday: 

EMOM 30 minutes (an EMOM workout means Every Minute On the Minute, so each minute is the start of a movement)

  • Bike
  • Bicycle abs
  • Overhead Lunge
  • Row
  • Kettlebell snatch right side
  • Kettlebell snatch left side

Saturday:

EMOM 30 minutes

  • Bike
  • Rope climb abs
  • Goblet Squat
  • Row
  • Jumprope
  • Renegade Row

Sunday: 

Transform20

Equipment free workout~EMOM 30 Minutes

  • Burpees
  • Air squats
  • Reverse Lunge
  • Sit ups
  • Push ups
  • Jumping Jacks
My favorite workout items:
Kettlebells:

are one of my favorite pieces of workout equipment. If you can only by one thing- the kettlebell has so many options! The Kettlebells we have are from Rogue. Below is a link to amazon for a set. There are a lot of options though!!

Foam rollers:

are a great way thing to use after a workout, before bed, first thing in the morning, etc. etc. They can be used on all muscle groups and can help with muscle recovery, soreness and warming up.  Below is one linked from Amazon.
