In this episode, I am sharing about the KEY thing that has allowed me to live a life that I feel fulfilled, marry my soulmate, have an abundance of joy and work through life challenges in healthy ways.

In today’s episode, we discuss:

1)  Why I am so passionate about a morning routine. A little bit about my story and what led me to starting my own morning routine.

2)  Why a morning routine actually matters.

3)  What happens when you don’t have a morning routine

4) How our thoughts hold us back from doing what we want and how to use them to help us instead of holding us back.

5) How to create your own morning routine- 7 journal prompts included!

  1. Why do I want to create a morning routine?
  2. What does your current morning look like? and how do you feel in the morning?
  3. Assess your energy levels and mental focus. How can you optimize your morning routine to enhance these aspects and set a positive tone for the rest of the day?
  4. Reflect on your use of technology in the morning. Are you giving yourself time away from screens?
How can you establish healthy boundaries with technology to promote a more balanced start to your day?
  5. Assess how your morning routine contributes to your physical well-being.

Are you incorporating movement and nourishing activities?

How can you optimize this aspect of your routine?

  6. Assess how your morning routine contributes to your mental and emotional well-being.

Are you incorporating mindfulness, gratitude and/or clarity activities?

How can you optimize this aspect of your routine?

  7. What would your ideal morning routine be?
How would you feel, what would you do, what would the environment be like,
Would it include exercise, movement, journaling, breakfast, intention setting. For this response remove any barriers or limitations.

Bio

My love for caring for people turned into a career when I became a  Registered Nurse and then a board-certified Nurse Coach (Holistic Wellness Coach) My business Real Life Wellness Coaching is where I have found a way to allow all of my passions to intersect together. Most recently I got my 200 hour yoga certification. As I lover of learning and growing, I am always doing something to bring learning to my life.

My passion for a holistic approach to care is attributed to my own wellness journey. Along this path I learned that my training in “traditional” health was failing me and my family, on that path I learned how emotional, mental and spiritual health are undeniably tied to physical health.  This lesson was life changing for me and I knew I couldn’t be the only one! So, I learned how I could be a guide to others who are ready for their own wellness journey.

In my personal life I am married to my soul mate, Seth. Together we have 5 kids and I just became a grandma! Spending time with my family is on the top of my list. Other things I enjoy are going on walks, yoga, reading, traveling to cool places, being crafty & creative and organizing closets and rooms!
