5 things bringing me joy this week

Hello! I’m excited to share the 5 things bringing me joy this week- but I want to take a second to reflect back on this past year… It is hard to believe that 1 year ago is when the pandemic started. I think it is fair to say that this past year has been a year of the unexpected challenges. During times of uncertainty or when things have been hard, it’s good to look back and evaluate on mindset, attitude and accomplishments. We don’t often get to chose when challenges come our way. But we do get to chose our attitude and how we respond. Looking back and evaluating is a tool to review these things and then- guess what… if we aren’t happy with the answers, we get to do something about it. Everyday you get to decide your mindset. So if there are things you find that you wish you would have done differently or want to go back and chose something else. Just start today, and allow yourself to learn from the process.

  • What are some areas that you have grown in this last year?
  • Are there new things that you have learned about yourself?
  • Has your mindset been -positive? -negative?-mixture of both?
  • What are some things you have accomplished or done, that you wouldn’t have pre-pandemic?
  • Do you have some new coping skills that you have learned?

No matter what season of life you are in- challenging, happy, hard, joyful; having a gratitude practice brings more joy to your life.

“Be thankful for what you have, and you will end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never have enough.” ~Oprah Winfrey
